St. Mary’s church is situated in the shopping centre of Weymouth close to hotels, beaches and harbours. We enjoy welcoming visitors and sharing the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. St. Mary’s has been serving the town since 1817 and celebrated its bicentennial in 2017.
As well as our Sunday services and weekday fellowships we are open every Tuesday morning (except during January and February) for people to pop in, pause for thought and pray or enjoy a drink and a chat.
St Mary’s is a Georgian church which displays Thornhill’s fine painting of the Last Supper. It is a venue for concerts and also provides a workshop, gallery and sales point for a Community Arts & Crafts project called Mustard Seeds.
The Parish of Radipole and Melcombe Regis takes its responsibilities surrounding the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults who may be at risk very seriously, and works in partnership with the Diocese of Salisbury to ensure that we work in accordance with best practice at all times.
